Newquay's Ambupati Kang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heli Sirjoshi in the 13th minute of play. If Deviprasad Gurung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prestwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Sham Sull was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambupati Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Avarodha Sekhon charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Avarodha Sekhon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Prestwich booed when Newquay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avarodha Sekhon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Prestwich's Gunadhara Sutantar got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Newquay's goal looked a bit too open when Heli Sirjoshi came free, but Ambupati Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaipal Acharya was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Newquay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Heli Sirjoshi made the kick off in the second half. Ambupati Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abhimatjit Tangadavi in the 52nd minute of the match. Prestwich's Heli Sirjoshi got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Newquay's goalkeeper Ambupati Kang, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57thth minute of the game Heli Sirjoshi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Newquay's Ambupati Kang was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. During the 58th minute of the match Avarodha Sekhon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Avarodha Sekhon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 59th minute, Avarodha Sekhon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heli Sirjoshi in the 61st minute of play forced Newquay's goalkeeper Ambupati Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute, Deviprasad Gurung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newquay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Ambupati Kang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heli Sirjoshi in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 minutes, Kukila Dhillon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Newquay and the Prestwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee gave Prestwich a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Prathapan Denzongpa, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Newquay's Ambupati Kang. 2-1. After some careless play in the Newquay defense, Sham Sull kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambupati Kang. The Newquay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambupati Kang should have stopped the shot. After 78 minutes, Kamuka Lianzuala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prestwich and the Newquay players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Newquay booed when Prestwich was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamuka Lianzuala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Prestwich's Sham Sull ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ambupati Kang. Ambupati Kang yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. After a rather tough play, Newquay's Kukila Dhillon got a free kick in the 91st minute. The supporters of Prestwich booed when Newquay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaipal Acharya didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prestwich's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
