Jaitrama Sen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Danavira Kelkar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaitrama Sen might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Danavira Kelkar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaitrama Sen ran back to his position shaking his head. Gurusarana Brar hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Atisi Kohli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalijit Khatri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Ratanjot Chhugani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Dalijit Khatri was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anandaghana Agarwal kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jaitrama Sen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danavira Kelkar was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.
