Thanks to some nice moves Digbhraja Prasad could shoot a difficult shot in the 5th minute, which Dattatray Patel however easily saved by the left post. If Aniruddha Dhaliwal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of St Albans booed when Beccles United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kvana Linyu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alia Patel, 13 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kuljit Beasley in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sampuran Som saved Beccles United from getting behind. Sampuran Som came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by St Albans's Aniruddha Dhaliwal. But to his dismay, Aniruddha Dhaliwal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sampuran Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aniruddha Dhaliwal in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuljit Beasley in the 22nd minute of play forced Beccles United's goalkeeper Sampuran Som to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sampuran Som stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kuljit Beasley's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 27th match minute, St Albans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atithigva Bhardwaj to maneuver through the defense. Sampuran Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aniruddha Dhaliwal in the 30th minute of play. Beccles United's Sampuran Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aniruddha Dhaliwal in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Beccles United's Digbhraja Prasad got a free kick in the 36th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Beccles United's goal looked a bit too open when Kuljit Beasley came free, but Sampuran Som reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuljit Beasley in the 48th minute of play forced Beccles United's goalkeeper Sampuran Som to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Beccles United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. St Albans were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kuljit Beasley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Beccles United's Jaswinder Kulkarni pulled a muscle in his leg after 51 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 51 minutes, Atithigva Bhardwaj mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the St Albans and the Beccles United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Atithigva Bhardwaj kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Andha Shah managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beccles United's supporters rose to their feet, but Andha Shah was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dattatray Patel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, Beccles United's goalkeeper Sampuran Som had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aniruddha Dhaliwal. In the 65th minute, Kuljit Beasley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sampuran Som took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuljit Beasley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Beccles United's Andha Shah sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dattatray Patel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dattatray Patel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Digbhraja Prasad in the 79th minute of the match. Digbhraja Prasad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Dattatray Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aniruddha Dhaliwal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute.
