Gateshead FC's Hansaraja Varghese played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donkal Mohan in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Donkal Mohan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Usayd Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Donkal Mohan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hansaraja Varghese breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Arvind Patel came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Gateshead FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arvind Patel couldn't finish the play. Donkal Mohan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansaraja Varghese having to interfere. Arvind Patel charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arvind Patel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Usayd Football Club made a substitution. Agnimasa De replaced Gopalakrishna Vurghese. A collision led to Gateshead FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Arvind Patel hit a great ball. Gateshead FC's Hansaraja Varghese proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Gateshead FC from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Donkal Mohan made the kick off in the second half. 63 minutes into the match, Usayd Football Club's Candraprabhava Jaggi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hansaraja Varghese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donkal Mohan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansaraja Varghese having to interfere. In the 66thth minute of the game Kanjavadana Samran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gateshead FC's Hansaraja Varghese was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kratupati Raja kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Candraprabhava Jaggi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gateshead FC's zone, Donkal Mohan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hansaraja Varghese came out of the goal and Donkal Mohan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kadambanila Sandhu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hansaraja Varghese having to interfere. Donkal Mohan might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hansaraja Varghese. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Donkal Mohan ran back to his position shaking his head. Kanjavadana Samran struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Hansaraja Varghese didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Usayd Football Club. After a rather tough play, Gateshead FC's Abhraroha Bhatia got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Usayd Football Club's Kanjavadana Samran got a free kick in the 87th minute. Kanjavadana Samran's late challenge caught a Gateshead FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kanjavadana Samran helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Usayd Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kanjavadana Samran to maneuver through the defense. If Arvind Patel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Usayd Football Club fully deserved thier win.
