Spectators: 6766 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Purushottam Rao started the match with the kick off. Wellesbourne's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abhyudaya Dey in the 5th minute. It was a well-played corner which Paramdeep Kamle managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hariharan Nayyar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paras Shahraj having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Wellesbourne's Gunidatta Linyu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paras Shahraj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Purushottam Rao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute, Gunidatta Linyu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Walmley City's Anyuna Barua got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute, Gunidatta Linyu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paras Shahraj was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 28th match minute, Walmley City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vikram Mitra to maneuver through the defense. Hariharan Nayyar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Paras Shahraj made a huge save. Gunidatta Linyu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Paras Shahraj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hariharan Nayyar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wellesbourne's Gunidatta Linyu got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gunidatta Linyu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunidatta Linyu in the 40th minute of play forced Walmley City's goalkeeper Paras Shahraj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Anyuna Barua mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walmley City and the Wellesbourne players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anyuna Barua hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Gunidatta Linyu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Paras Shahraj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Cittavata Chattha made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ksaman Sahni sent off a good shot on target. Hariharan Nayyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Paras Shahraj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. If Gunidatta Linyu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paramdeep Kamle during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Walmley City booed when Wellesbourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paramdeep Kamle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ksaman Sahni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Wellesbourne's goalkeeper Cittavata Chattha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Wellesbourne players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
