Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Stamford City's Anava Mehra started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stamford City were furious when Atima Dasgupta was red carded, 3 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The goalkeeper, Anantadeva Kamle, was totally fooled by Diss FC's Narottam Marathe, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Diss FC booed when Stamford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akshey Chahal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shankar Bhosale got free with Anantadeva Kamle in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teja Tiwari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Anantadeva Kamle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teja Tiwari in the 15th minute of play forced Stamford City's goalkeeper Anantadeva Kamle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aryaki Yeddyurappa during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Diss FC booed when Stamford City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aryaki Yeddyurappa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 17th minute, Teja Tiwari fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 21st minute Teja Tiwari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anantadeva Kamle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rajluxmi Bhatia fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stamford City's protests and gave Rajluxmi Bhatia a yellow card for diving instead. Shankar Bhosale spun around in front of the goal 24 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Stamford City's goal. Diss FC's Anuprya Sangha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aryaki Yeddyurappa in the 26th minute of play. Diss FC's Shankar Bhosale got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teja Tiwari was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 31st minute. Diss FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Anantadeva Kamle managed to avoid a goal in the 40thth minute, when Diss FC's Shankar Bhosale fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Teja Tiwari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Anantadeva Kamle came out and tried to block the shot, but Teja Tiwari slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. Teja Tiwari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anantadeva Kamle having to interfere. In the 48th minute Teja Tiwari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anantadeva Kamle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Teja Tiwari made the kick off in the second half. Shankar Bhosale took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anantadeva Kamle. Anantadeva Kamle dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 58 minutes into the match, Diss FC's Shankar Bhosale sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anantadeva Kamle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anantadeva Kamle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teja Tiwari in the 59th minute of play. If Shankar Bhosale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Stamford City's goal looked a bit too open when Teja Tiwari came free, but Anantadeva Kamle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shankar Bhosale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Shankar Bhosale's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anantadeva Kamle was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. 72 minutes into the match, Stamford City's goal looked a bit too open when Teja Tiwari came free, but Anantadeva Kamle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Stamford City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Addana Chahall to maneuver through the defense. Shankar Bhosale scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anantadeva Kamle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teja Tiwari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Teja Tiwari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anantadeva Kamle was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. After 96 minutes, Rana Rudrappa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Diss FC and the Stamford City players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Diss FC were the better team. Diss FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
