Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barhaketu Beasley started the match with the kick off. Pururavas Ganguly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ajyapa Pal, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. When Dilip Nayyar fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tiverton's protests and gave Dilip Nayyar a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Stowmarket booed when Tiverton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dilip Nayyar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anokh Bhambra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Amitabha Srivastava. Stowmarket's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Stowmarket's Ajyapa Pal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pururavas Ganguly narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ajyapa Pal in the 17th minute of play forced Tiverton's goalkeeper Pururavas Ganguly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pururavas Ganguly stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ajyapa Pal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 22 played minutes Tiverton got a freekick which was hit by Ananthakrishnan Sahota. Pururavas Ganguly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prabhnoor Mendes in the 24th minute of the match. When Jagatjiva Varma came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Tiverton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jagatjiva Varma couldn't finish the play. The Tiverton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stowmarket were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ajyapa Pal to strike the kick off in the second half. Adhira Sahota hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Jagatjiva Varma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Amitabha Srivastava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Ankolita Baweja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tiverton's Barhaketu Beasley in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stowmarket's goalie prevented a goal. Pururavas Ganguly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ajyapa Pal in the 58th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Barhaketu Beasley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amitabha Srivastava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ajyapa Pal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pururavas Ganguly read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Prabhnoor Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prabhnoor Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pururavas Ganguly having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Tiverton's goal looked a bit too open when Ajyapa Pal came free, but Pururavas Ganguly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiverton's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ajyapa Pal 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. In the 82nd minute Ajyapa Pal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pururavas Ganguly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ajyapa Pal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anokh Bhambra kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiverton's goalkeeper Pururavas Ganguly, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 95 minutes into the game, Barhaketu Beasley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Amitabha Srivastava was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
