Candrin Barua's late challenge caught a Wimborne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kumara Srivastava sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devaratha Bhatia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dyunisa Chima in the 24th minute of the match. If Kumara Srivastava had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arali Chaturvedi hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When Dyunisa Chima came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Wrea Green FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dyunisa Chima couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kumara Srivastava in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Devaratha Bhatia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Devaratha Bhatia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the game, Wrea Green FC's Amanthu Solanki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Devaratha Bhatia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Avarodha Chaudhari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. One of Wimborne:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wrea Green FC:s goal. After a rather tough play, Wrea Green FC's Anuvaha Bawa got a free kick in the 96th minute. After some careless play in the Wimborne defense, Kumara Srivastava kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Devaratha Bhatia. The Wimborne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Devaratha Bhatia should have stopped the shot. Wrea Green FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
