Ujaala Dutta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Curdridge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dharmamrta Pujari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dharmamrta Pujari in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Asvalarana Nijjar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Govind Bhasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arganjan Sahu having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Northampton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dharmamrta Pujari came free, but Asvalarana Nijjar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Northampton AFC's Asha Pabley got a free kick in the 95th minute. Curdridge played a much better game than Northampton AFC and deserved their victory. The Northampton AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
