After having played for 10 minutes, Darshi Sinha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mirfield City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darshi Sinha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Darshi Sinha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Asuga Khalsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janardhana Pannu in the 29th minute of play forced Mirfield City's goalkeeper Anjanaparvan Sabnis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute, Janardhana Pannu made a precise shot to the right of Anjanaparvan Sabnis. Mirfield City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kakunda Ghoshal might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jayanth Sehgal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kakunda Ghoshal ran back to his position shaking his head. When Vikas Nijjar came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Mirfield City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vikas Nijjar couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vikas Nijjar made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sarabdeep Sarkaria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Janardhana Pannu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Asuga Khalsa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Asuga Khalsa succeeded in the game's 59th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. Anjanaparvan Sabnis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Janardhana Pannu in the 67th minute of play. After 74 minutes, Darshi Sinha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mirfield City and the South Woodford players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mirfield City's Darshi Sinha got a free kick in the 75th minute. South Woodford's Janardhana Pannu got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Mirfield City booed when South Woodford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaivalya Jain didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Nardev Ayer lined in a short shot 0-3 behind a frustrated Anjanaparvan Sabnis. Darshi Sinha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Mirfield City supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching South Woodford's performance. The match ended with a win for South Woodford.
