Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alakaprabha Chohan kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prakash Sangha in the 3rd minute of play forced Hebden Bridge United's goalkeeper Harbajan Chadha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wibtoft City! Kupati Attariwala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Harbajan Chadha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amritaka Mandal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alakaprabha Chohan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isayu Attwal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amritaka Mandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Kupati Attariwala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wibtoft City's supporters rose to their feet, but Kupati Attariwala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harbajan Chadha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Harbajan Chadha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prakash Sangha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Wibtoft City's Amritaka Mandal got control of the ball when Isayu Attwal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wibtoft City's Amaraprita Khattri got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Isayu Attwal struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Amritaka Mandal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hebden Bridge United. 28 minutes into the match, Hebden Bridge United's Alakaprabha Chohan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amritaka Mandal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 36 minutes of play, Wibtoft City's Kupati Attariwala made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harbajan Chadha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prakash Sangha in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Harbajan Chadha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Amritaka Mandal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alakaprabha Chohan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilaspada Nahal during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hebden Bridge United getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ilaspada Nahal hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Prakash Sangha made a kick off. Kupati Attariwala's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Harbajan Chadha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Kupati Attariwala succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 62nd playminute. Gurusimran Varma's late challenge caught a Wibtoft City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gurusimran Varma helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Hebden Bridge United's zone, Kupati Attariwala stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harbajan Chadha came out of the goal and Kupati Attariwala tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hebden Bridge United's goalkeeper Harbajan Chadha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alakaprabha Chohan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amritaka Mandal having to interfere. Amritaka Mandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alakaprabha Chohan in the 95th minute of play. When Amaraprita Khattri fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wibtoft City's protests and gave Amaraprita Khattri a yellow card for diving instead. The Wibtoft City supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wibtoft City would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
