Aksaja Rao's late challenge caught a Ilkley City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aksaja Rao helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Wibtoft City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ilkley City:s goal. Laxman Sohota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amritaka Mandal having to interfere. Apacita Rahul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ilkley City's zone, Prakash Sangha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramnath Mukherjee came out of the goal and Prakash Sangha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilkley City's Ramnath Mukherjee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prakash Sangha in the 30th minute of play. Akara Pant hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Wibtoft City's Aksaja Rao got a free kick in the 31st minute. When Apacita Rahul came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Ilkley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apacita Rahul couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Apacita Rahul reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Amritaka Mandal. The goal made the score 1-0. Amritaka Mandal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apacita Rahul, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Amaraprita Khattri hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. When Apacita Rahul came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Ilkley City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apacita Rahul couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Apacita Rahul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Ramnath Mukherjee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prakash Sangha in the 53rd minute of the match. Amritaka Mandal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apacita Rahul, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Laxman Sohota recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amritaka Mandal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Apacita Rahul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes Wibtoft City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karunakara Hora who took care of the corner kick. Amritaka Mandal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laxman Sohota's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Wibtoft City's Krishnaswami Chettri got a free kick in the 68th minute. Amritaka Mandal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apacita Rahul, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Kupati Attariwala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramnath Mukherjee came out and tried to block the shot, but Kupati Attariwala slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Abhyudaya Boparai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beni Pal kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd minute of the match Karunakara Hora sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amritaka Mandal skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 96 minutes, Laxman Sohota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilkley City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laxman Sohota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
