Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aksobhya Rathod got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the match, Wibtoft City's goal looked a bit too open when Aksobhya Rathod came free, but Amritaka Mandal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manjit Bhangu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manjit Bhangu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Strood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manjit Bhangu to maneuver through the defense. Prakash Sangha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wibtoft City's Amritaka Mandal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aksobhya Rathod in the 16th minute of play. Prakash Sangha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Candraprakasa Kulkarni having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prakash Sangha in the 20th minute of play forced Strood AFC's goalkeeper Candraprakasa Kulkarni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Prakash Sangha came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Wibtoft City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prakash Sangha couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes into the match, Kupati Attariwala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Candraprakasa Kulkarni. Strood AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kupati Attariwala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aksobhya Rathod fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amritaka Mandal having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Wibtoft City's goal looked a bit too open when Prambir Chaddha came free, but Amritaka Mandal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Wibtoft City's Krishnaswami Chettri got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Dharmavati Thapa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dharmavati Thapa kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Amritaka Mandal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aksobhya Rathod, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kupati Attariwala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Prakash Sangha was the one to do the kick off. Amaraprita Khattri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Devanabha Shahraj kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Candraprakasa Kulkarni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prakash Sangha in the 62nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Strood AFC's Jagdeep Lamichaney got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Kupati Attariwala's late challenge caught a Strood AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kupati Attariwala helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Kupati Attariwala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Prakash Sangha put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Candraprakasa Kulkarni. In the 71st match minute, Strood AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avanibhusana Mendes to maneuver through the defense. Kupati Attariwala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Candraprakasa Kulkarni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prakash Sangha in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Candraprakasa Kulkarni saved Strood AFC from getting behind. Candraprakasa Kulkarni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prakash Sangha's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Kupati Attariwala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candraprakasa Kulkarni read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85thth minute of the game Kupati Attariwala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Strood AFC's Candraprakasa Kulkarni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Prakash Sangha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Wibtoft City fully deserved thier win.
