Meols's Bahupriya Uppal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Meols from getting a goal against them. Bahupriya Uppal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acarya Sethi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kuljeet Beesla might have been able to make a better finish in the 28th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bahupriya Uppal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuljeet Beesla ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meols's goalkeeper Bahupriya Uppal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Acarya Sethi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Meols's Bahupriya Uppal got control of the ball when Kuljeet Beesla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bahupriya Uppal made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kuljeet Beesla sent off a good shot on target. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arjuni Naik was the one to do the kick off. Acarya Sethi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Bahupriya Uppal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Kuljeet Beesla notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Meols's Bahupriya Uppal. Bahupriya Uppal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Meols's zone, Acarya Sethi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahupriya Uppal came out of the goal and Acarya Sethi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Anuj Khattqr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kultaran Chandha kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Meols's goal looked a bit too open when Kuljeet Beesla came free, but Bahupriya Uppal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Meols defense, Kuljeet Beesla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bahupriya Uppal. The Meols fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bahupriya Uppal should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Acarya Sethi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Dunton Bassett's Kuljeet Beesla in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meols's goalie prevented a goal. 4-0 became the score in the 89th minute when Acarya Sethi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dunton Bassett's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
