Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rajkumar Dalel came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Dunton Bassett's Kuljeet Beesla. But to his dismay, Kuljeet Beesla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Dunton Bassett defense, Srinivasiah Khandelwal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kalpesa Sawhney. The Dunton Bassett fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kalpesa Sawhney should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Sowerby Bridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Acarya Sethi came free, but Rajkumar Dalel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Acarya Sethi kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Sheth Reel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ambaka Kumar during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Sowerby Bridge AFC's Ambaka Kumar got a free kick in the 26th minute. Ranjit Bhattacharya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kalpesa Sawhney having to make a save. Kuljeet Beesla in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rajkumar Dalel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A hard shot 34 in the game by Kuljeet Beesla from a close distance when the talented Rajkumar Dalel managed to make a qualified save. Sowerby Bridge AFC's players were relieved. Acarya Sethi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Rajkumar Dalel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Rajkumar Dalel managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Dunton Bassett's Kuljeet Beesla fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ranjit Bhattacharya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acarya Sethi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Srinivasiah Khandelwal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sowerby Bridge AFC:s Rajkumar Dalel showed great skill when he stopped Gopu Pannu:s penalty. Rajkumar Dalel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuljeet Beesla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rajkumar Dalel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acarya Sethi, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 77th minute, Kasi Mohan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Acarya Sethi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Dunton Bassett booed when Sowerby Bridge AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kasi Mohan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sowerby Bridge AFC's zone, Kuljeet Beesla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rajkumar Dalel came out of the goal and Kuljeet Beesla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Sowerby Bridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Acarya Sethi came free, but Rajkumar Dalel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sowerby Bridge AFC's Ranjit Bhattacharya got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atimaya Sohota hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Atimaya Sohota kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Kalpesa Sawhney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ranjit Bhattacharya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
