Acarya Sethi might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jalasa Warwaha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Acarya Sethi ran back to his position shaking his head. Jalasa Warwaha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kuljeet Beesla in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dvarakadasa Aujla made a kick off.
