Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teja Nahal took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee ignored Samtop FC's protests and gave Astrita Vadhwa a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Samtop FC got a freekick which was hit by Astrita Vadhwa. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Bodhinmanas Varma managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bury's supporters rose to their feet, but Bodhinmanas Varma was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bhanucandra Kharka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ajagara Toor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aditeya Dalvi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candravijaya Raj in the 14th minute of play. Bury's Bodhinmanas Varma got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 20th minute, but Bhanucandra Kharka got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Samtop FC hanging dry this time. Bodhinmanas Varma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Akupara Khalsa hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Candravijaya Raj received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Aditeya Dalvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 37 minutes, Pavitar Akhtar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pavitar Akhtar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pavitar Akhtar charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pavitar Akhtar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Candravijaya Raj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aditeya Dalvi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Bury's Bodhinmanas Varma got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teja Nahal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Indrabala Barn was shown his second yellow card after 51 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 52nd match minute, Samtop FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Indrabala Barn to maneuver through the defense. Pavitar Akhtar might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bhanucandra Kharka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bodhinmanas Varma in the 75th minute of play forced Samtop FC's goalkeeper Bhanucandra Kharka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bodhinmanas Varma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute.
