The supporters of SIKKIM AFC booed when Souvik super team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daulat Thakur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devarpana Beesla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 35th minute, Rasgun Nijjar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 42 played minutes Souvik super team got a freekick which was hit by Vaani Malhan. Suraj Marak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Citrabhuta Thapa, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Naina Vadhwa to make the kick off. Cirayu Shindi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Souvik super team's goalkeeper Suraj Marak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Devarpana Beesla. When Vaani Malhan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 65 minutes had been played. Vaani Malhan kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Citrabhuta Thapa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Souvik super team's Suraj Marak was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Citrabhuta Thapa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Suraj Marak having to make a save. 74 minutes into the game, one of Souvik super team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Suraj Marak, was totally fooled by SIKKIM AFC's Shripati Chhugani, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Kulapati Agroia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Naina Vadhwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amritaksara Sodhi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Souvik super team's Kulapati Agroia shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
