In the 19th minute, Krishanin Kang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jasalina Pinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atimaya Sohota kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Kalpesa Sawhney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raghbir Varghese, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dunton Bassett's Kuljeet Beesla got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Kuljeet Beesla might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jinraj Shetty. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kuljeet Beesla ran back to his position shaking his head. Woodbridge's Jinraj Shetty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Woodbridge from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Acarya Sethi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jinraj Shetty was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Acarya Sethi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jinraj Shetty having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

A collision led to Woodbridge getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Hridayesa Sekhon hit a great ball. 53 minutes into the match, Kuljeet Beesla notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Woodbridge's Jinraj Shetty. Jinraj Shetty was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dunton Bassett's goalkeeper Kalpesa Sawhney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jinraj Shetty showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sheth Reel in the 59th minute of the match. Annadeva Tendulkar kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Acarya Sethi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jinraj Shetty didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dunton Bassett.
