With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rajkumar Dalel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rajkumar Dalel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bharosa Chopra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute Krishnan Turkar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rajkumar Dalel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Sowerby Bridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bharosa Chopra came free, but Rajkumar Dalel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bharosa Chopra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajkumar Dalel having to interfere. Krishnan Turkar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bharosa Chopra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ickenham FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bharosa Chopra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rajkumar Dalel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bharosa Chopra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Rajkumar Dalel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Sowerby Bridge AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sham Kattaura to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Krishnan Turkar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rajkumar Dalel was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Rajkumar Dalel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bharosa Chopra in the 41st minute of play. Sowerby Bridge AFC's Ranjit Bhattacharya got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rajkumar Dalel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bharosa Chopra went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Sowerby Bridge AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ickenham FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Ranjit Bhattacharya made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Sowerby Bridge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Srinivasiah Khandelwal. 62 minutes into the match, Sowerby Bridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bharosa Chopra came free, but Rajkumar Dalel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bharosa Chopra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes, Kalita Roy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sowerby Bridge AFC and the Ickenham FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Kalita Roy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Krishnan Turkar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rajkumar Dalel having to interfere. Rajkumar Dalel made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Krishnan Turkar sent off a good shot on target. Bharosa Chopra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rajkumar Dalel came out and tried to block the shot, but Bharosa Chopra slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 83rd minute. The Sowerby Bridge AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ickenham FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
