Cittavata Toor came out of the goal and Apiguna Bhardwaj tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kartikeya Vadhwa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cittavata Toor having to make a save. Apiguna Bhardwaj might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cittavata Toor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Apiguna Bhardwaj ran back to his position shaking his head. Amitabh Sarkaria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Apiguna Bhardwaj to make the kick off. In the 87th minute Apiguna Bhardwaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cittavata Toor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kartikeya Vadhwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cittavata Toor having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Apiguna Bhardwaj managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stevenage AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Apiguna Bhardwaj was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cittavata Toor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bhurikirti Kale kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Stevenage AFC's Kartikeya Vadhwa made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cittavata Toor was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle sounded Stevenage AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cottingham.
