Shadow FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambuda Pahwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ikroop Lal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Luv de Lasan defense, Bishwamba Chaudhari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ikroop Lal. The Luv de Lasan fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ikroop Lal should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the game, Luv de Lasan's Kamasrama Shahraj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kukila Ghai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After 41 played minutes, Luv de Lasan's Ana Dias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kukila Ghai came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Luv de Lasan reached it. After 44 minutes, Bishwamba Chaudhari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shadow FC and the Luv de Lasan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Luv de Lasan booed when Shadow FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bishwamba Chaudhari didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Shadow FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Ikroop Lal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bishwamba Chaudhari in the 67th minute of play. Ikroop Lal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bishwamba Chaudhari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bishwamba Chaudhari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ikroop Lal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luv de Lasan walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
