Jaswinder Hira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ikroop Lal having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sham Chakma kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jabhar Chubalepzuk. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jaswinder Hira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ikroop Lal was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Jaswinder Hira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute, Kamasrama Shahraj got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luv de Lasan's Ikroop Lal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayit Krishnan in the 31st minute of play. Ikroop Lal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaswinder Hira, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Barrow upon Humber AFC were awarded a corner. Ashish Tind went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sham Chakma in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jabhar Chubalepzuk saved Barrow upon Humber AFC from getting behind. A collision led to Barrow upon Humber AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Kanta Hegde hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute, Abhranaga Kadam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luv de Lasan's goalkeeper Ikroop Lal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bayit Krishnan to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Barrow upon Humber AFC defense, Sham Chakma kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jabhar Chubalepzuk. The Barrow upon Humber AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jabhar Chubalepzuk should have stopped the shot. Ikroop Lal made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Jaswinder Hira sent off a good shot on target. Jaswinder Hira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikroop Lal having to interfere. Barrow upon Humber AFC's Jabhar Chubalepzuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ana Dias in the 75th minute of play. Jabhar Chubalepzuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamasrama Shahraj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrow upon Humber AFC's Jabhar Chubalepzuk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamasrama Shahraj in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harjit Mahal in the 90th minute of play forced Barrow upon Humber AFC's goalkeeper Jabhar Chubalepzuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Abhranaga Kadam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jabhar Chubalepzuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luv de Lasan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
