After 17 minutes of play, Luv de Lasan's Sham Chakma made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javin Saha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 21 played minutes Luv de Lasan got a freekick which was hit by Abhranaga Kadam. 24 minutes into the game, Luv de Lasan's Ana Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Javin Saha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Ikroop Lal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hiren Rahul, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Luv de Lasan's goal looked a bit too open when Hiren Rahul came free, but Ikroop Lal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Prabhgun Sandhar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ikroop Lal. The goal made the score 1-2. Abhranaga Kadam scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javin Saha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hiren Rahul made a kick off. After having played for 57 minutes, Hiren Rahul managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thunderbolt FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hiren Rahul was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Kalasinha Girgla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Katamaraja Bhatti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kalasinha Girgla charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kalasinha Girgla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luv de Lasan's Ikroop Lal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jhilmit Nijjar in the 93rd minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match, Adimula Nair tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Javin Saha saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luv de Lasan played a much better game than Thunderbolt FC and deserved their victory. The Thunderbolt FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
