After having played for 5 minutes, Adisesan Ragi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Southbourne AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adisesan Ragi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Luv de Lasan getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Harjit Mahal hit a great ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Adisesan Ragi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luv de Lasan's Ikroop Lal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cidrupa Lell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adisesan Ragi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cidrupa Lell struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Ikroop Lal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Southbourne AFC. In the 23rd minute, Adisesan Ragi fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Ikroop Lal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cidrupa Lell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikroop Lal having to interfere. Southbourne AFC's Navjot Narindra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ana Dias in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Sham Chakma notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Southbourne AFC's Navjot Narindra. Navjot Narindra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Southbourne AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Luv de Lasan were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abhranaga Kadam made a kick off. After 57 played minutes Luv de Lasan got a freekick which was hit by Abhranaga Kadam. With his leg Navjot Narindra managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Luv de Lasan's Abhranaga Kadam fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abhranaga Kadam struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Navjot Narindra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luv de Lasan. Navjot Narindra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ana Dias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Luv de Lasan's zone, Cidrupa Lell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ikroop Lal came out of the goal and Cidrupa Lell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Southbourne AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Abhikanksa Tangadavi hit a great ball. The supporters of Luv de Lasan booed when Southbourne AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adisesan Ragi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Navjot Narindra made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Kamasrama Shahraj sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Southbourne AFC's Sarang Madhusudan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sarang Madhusudan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Southbourne AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sarang Madhusudan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Luv de Lasan booed when Southbourne AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sarang Madhusudan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luv de Lasan's Harjit Mahal couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 76th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Southbourne AFC. After 77 minutes, Jitender Parmar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southbourne AFC and the Luv de Lasan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Harjit Mahal kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Anokh More was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Southbourne AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luv de Lasan the free kick. Anokh More kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Abhranaga Kadam who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Navjot Narindra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Abhranaga Kadam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Navjot Narindra made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cidrupa Lell in the 95th minute of play forced Luv de Lasan's goalkeeper Ikroop Lal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harjit Mahal hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Luv de Lasan players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
