Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Swinton AFC's Krish Khan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jaidev Moktan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaidev Moktan in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Muralidhar Sakhrie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 7 minutes, Krish Khan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Swinton AFC and the Geddington FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 8 minutes into the game, Jaidev Moktan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Muralidhar Sakhrie. Jaidev Moktan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Anshul Bal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Muralidhar Sakhrie firmly grabbed it by the left post. Muralidhar Sakhrie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaidev Moktan in the 12th minute of the match. Anshul Bal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Muralidhar Sakhrie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Swinton AFC's Muralidhar Sakhrie got control of the ball when Aparoksa Ghoshal tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 22 minutes, Jaidev Moktan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Geddington FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaidev Moktan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kurcika Tipnis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Krish Khan came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Swinton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Krish Khan couldn't finish the play. Anshul Bal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muralidhar Sakhrie having to interfere. If Anshul Bal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jaidev Moktan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Jaidev Moktan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Muralidhar Sakhrie, 3-0. Anshul Bal struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Muralidhar Sakhrie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geddington FC. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaidev Moktan was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aparoksa Ghoshal in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Muralidhar Sakhrie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Swinton AFC's Muralidhar Sakhrie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anshul Bal in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaidev Moktan in the 70th minute of play forced Swinton AFC's goalkeeper Muralidhar Sakhrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Muralidhar Sakhrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anshul Bal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Anshul Bal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 76 played minutes Swinton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Krish Khan. Muralidhar Sakhrie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anshul Bal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Jaidev Moktan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geddington FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jaidev Moktan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Muralidhar Sakhrie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geddington FC's Jaidev Moktan got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaidev Moktan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jaidev Moktan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anshul Bal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Muralidhar Sakhrie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
