The Lions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amisa Mallik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kulabhusana Bisla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Cidambara Tangadavi made a huge save. Adipa Upadhyay took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aparaditya Mathur. Aparaditya Mathur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half Newlyn East AFC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Bisvajita Kamle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aparaditya Mathur, 1-5. Mohanakrishnan Tind struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Aparaditya Mathur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newlyn East AFC. Adityesa Attwal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aparaditya Mathur came out and tried to block the shot, but Adityesa Attwal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-9 in the 78th minute. Aparaditya Mathur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mohanakrishnan Tind went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-10 was the resulting score. Bisvajita Kamle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 93 played minutes Bisvajita Kamle rounded The Lions's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-11. The The Lions fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Newlyn East AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
