Rajindar Nahal had several of the Lion Warrior Boys's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 6 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Sateesha Multani as he didn't even see the shot coming. Kanti Tamang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abhyudaya Naik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sateesha Multani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rajindar Nahal's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Sateesha Multani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajindar Nahal in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25th minute Sushil Sidhu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abhyudaya Naik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sateesha Multani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indrinika Siddhu in the 28th minute of the match. After some careless play in the High Wycombe City defense, Harjeet Paranjpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abhyudaya Naik. The High Wycombe City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abhyudaya Naik should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Ajagara Dhami ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abhyudaya Naik was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Rajindar Nahal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sateesha Multani made a huge save. When Ashrita Rai fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored High Wycombe City's protests and gave Ashrita Rai a yellow card for diving instead. Sateesha Multani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajindar Nahal, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ajagara Dhami was the one to do the kick off. Lion Warrior Boys's Sateesha Multani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rajindar Nahal in the 56th minute of play. If Rajindar Nahal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Indrinika Siddhu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sateesha Multani read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Indrinika Siddhu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Sateesha Multani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 played minutes High Wycombe City got a freekick which was hit by Drstasara Sabnis. In the 76th minute, Lion Warrior Boys's Ajagara Dhami ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Abhyudaya Naik. Abhyudaya Naik yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 85th match minute, High Wycombe City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inan Tiwari to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, High Wycombe City's Ashrita Rai got a free kick in the 89th minute. Inan Tiwari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lion Warrior Boys were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over High Wycombe City's much stronger midfield.
