The referee ignored Stanford le Hope UnitedFC's protests and gave Adita Tipnis a yellow card for diving instead. Ratanbir Paranjpe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaidev Moktan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kashmir Shah the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Stanford le Hope UnitedFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kashmir Shah had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Kashmir Shah hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the game, Jaidev Moktan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Stanford le Hope UnitedFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Asruta Sen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haranath Balil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Aparoksa Ghoshal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ratanbir Paranjpe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ratanbir Paranjpe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaidev Moktan in the 84th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Geddington FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stanford le Hope UnitedFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
