Spectators: 6772 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ramleen Haito kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cottered United's zone, Ramleen Haito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adri Kang came out of the goal and Ramleen Haito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iravan Roy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gurpreet Sengupta in the 7th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anshuman Dhanoa got free with Adri Kang in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Buddhadatta Vaidya hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Adri Kang was a little too slow when Anshuman Dhanoa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cottered United's Gurpreet Sengupta got a free kick in the 27th minute. Katti Dhanoa struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Adri Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Totham FC. 33 minutes into the game, Anshuman Dhanoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Adri Kang was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Gobinda Sharma fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cottered United's protests and gave Gobinda Sharma a yellow card for diving instead. If Buddhadatta Vaidya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Great Totham FC's Iravan Roy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gurpreet Sengupta in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Cottered United's Buddhadatta Vaidya sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iravan Roy narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gurpreet Sengupta was the one to do the kick off. Anshuman Dhanoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Adri Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buddhadatta Vaidya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute Gurpreet Sengupta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iravan Roy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iravan Roy was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Buddhadatta Vaidya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Anshuman Dhanoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
