Polaris's Kushwaha Raja got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Polaris's zone, Adipa Upadhyay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Massem Gala came out of the goal and Adipa Upadhyay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 5th minute, Bisvajita Kamle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Newlyn East AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Polaris's Campeya Reel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cidambara Tangadavi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 16 minutes into the match, Polaris's goal looked a bit too open when Bisvajita Kamle came free, but Massem Gala reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience held their breath when Bhairavasin Nahal in the 18th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Massem Gala's left hand side. In the 22nd minute, Bisvajita Kamle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Massem Gala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Campeya Reel struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Cidambara Tangadavi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polaris. In the 27th minute, Adipa Upadhyay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Massem Gala was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adipa Upadhyay in the 30th minute of play forced Polaris's goalkeeper Massem Gala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anuyayin Jammu came free, but Cidambara Tangadavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Massem Gala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adipa Upadhyay, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Campeya Reel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cidambara Tangadavi firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to Newlyn East AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mohanakrishnan Tind hit a great ball. Dhanavanta Walia scored 2-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cidambara Tangadavi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Newlyn East AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anuyayin Jammu made a kick off. In the 55th minute, one of Newlyn East AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Newlyn East AFC. Newlyn East AFC:s Cidambara Tangadavi showed great skill when he stopped Bapudeva Sokhey:s penalty. Cidambara Tangadavi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anuyayin Jammu in the 59th minute of the match. Cidambara Tangadavi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anuyayin Jammu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 62 minutes into the match, Polaris's goalkeeper Massem Gala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adipa Upadhyay. In the 63rd match minute, Newlyn East AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Acalendra Sabdhu to maneuver through the defense. Cidambara Tangadavi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bapudeva Sokhey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cidambara Tangadavi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 71 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's Bhairavasin Nahal broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Newlyn East AFC's Cidambara Tangadavi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anuyayin Jammu in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Campeya Reel came free, but Cidambara Tangadavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adipa Upadhyay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
