The supporters of Geddington FC booed when Cottered United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gobinda Sharma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dandavirya More took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adri Kang. Cottered United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Jaidev Moktan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the game, Jivavijaya Swamy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anshul Bals short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Adri Kang to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Haranath Balil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Buddhadatta Vaidya in the 22nd minute of the match. Kavibhusana Chawla kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Kurcika Tipnis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Anshul Bal got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Buddhadatta Vaidya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haranath Balil having to interfere. Haranath Balil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buddhadatta Vaidya, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Buddhadatta Vaidya was the one to do the kick off. Anshul Bal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cottered United's Buddhadatta Vaidya got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aparoksa Ghoshal during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Geddington FC's Aparoksa Ghoshal got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cottered United's Buddhadatta Vaidya got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 69 minutes into the match, Geddington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jagajiva Jha came free, but Haranath Balil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aparoksa Ghoshal kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anshul Bal in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adri Kang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Buddhadatta Vaidya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buddhadatta Vaidya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
