In a very dangerous position, a player in Newlyn East AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Newlyn East AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Adipa Upadhyay hit a great ball. Bhairavasin Nahal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Adri Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25th play minutes Bisvajita Kamle shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Adri Kang and just under the crossbar into goal. Bisvajita Kamle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Adri Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cidambara Tangadavi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Buddhadatta Vaidya in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bisvajita Kamle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adri Kang was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Newlyn East AFC's Bisvajita Kamle in the 43rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Adri Kang was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Cottered United through an amazing save. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Mohanakrishnan Tind managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newlyn East AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohanakrishnan Tind was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adri Kang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A well placed Bisvajita Kamle short distance shot in the 46th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bisvajita Kamle was the one to do the kick off. Bisvajita Kamle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Adri Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mohanakrishnan Tind struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Adri Kang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newlyn East AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bisvajita Kamle in the 59th minute of play forced Cottered United's goalkeeper Adri Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cottered United! In the 62nd minute there was a penalty for Newlyn East AFC. Kulamani Judge stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Adri Kang. 3-1. The supporters of Cottered United booed when Newlyn East AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bisvajita Kamle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mohanakrishnan Tind kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cidambara Tangadavi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gurpreet Sengupta in the 72nd minute of the match. Bisvajita Kamle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes, Gobinda Sharma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cottered United and the Newlyn East AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Gobinda Sharma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kavibhusana Chawla during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 78 played minutes Cottered United got a freekick which was hit by Kavibhusana Chawla. Balayus Bajaj hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Cottered United's goal looked a bit too open when Adityesa Attwal came free, but Adri Kang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohanakrishnan Tind in the 92nd minute of play forced Cottered United's goalkeeper Adri Kang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bisvajita Kamle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Newlyn East AFC's Cidambara Tangadavi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gurpreet Sengupta in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Newlyn East AFC fully deserved thier win.
