Spectators: 6781 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 0) The Cottered United fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Cottered United's Buddhadatta Vaidya looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adri Kang didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vidyahar Khahera went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 18th match minute, Cottered United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shankar Gandhi to maneuver through the defense. Adri Kang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arkin Ramesh, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jagajiva Jha hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Anshuman Dhanoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adri Kang having to interfere. Gurpreet Sengupta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Iravan Roy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anshuman Dhanoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jagajiva Jha's late challenge caught a Great Totham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jagajiva Jha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Jagajiva Jha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ramleen Haito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Adri Kang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Great Totham FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Buddhadatta Vaidya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramleen Haito was the one to do the kick off. Buddhadatta Vaidya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the match, Great Totham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gurpreet Sengupta came free, but Iravan Roy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramleen Haito in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adri Kang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anshuman Dhanoa got free with Adri Kang in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Cottered United getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Kavibhusana Chawla hit a great ball. A hard shot by Arkin Ramesh from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Adri Kang's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cottered United's Buddhadatta Vaidya got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Cottered United's Adri Kang got control of the ball when Anshuman Dhanoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute of the match, Anshuman Dhanoa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Adri Kang was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gobinda Sharma kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Gurpreet Sengupta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iravan Roy having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Cottered United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
