In the 13thth minute of the game Bisvajita Kamle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polaris's Massem Gala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Anuyayin Jammu came free, but Cidambara Tangadavi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kshitij Marathe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Polaris's Kushwaha Raja got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the Newlyn East AFC defense, Kushwaha Raja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cidambara Tangadavi. The Newlyn East AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cidambara Tangadavi should have stopped the shot. Campeya Reel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Polaris getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Amarisa Mirza hit a great ball. Massem Gala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adipa Upadhyay went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Campeya Reel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cidambara Tangadavi was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. With a little luck, Polaris's Massem Gala got control of the ball when Bisvajita Kamle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Shanker Lalli struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Cidambara Tangadavi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polaris. Newlyn East AFC's Cidambara Tangadavi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dhanavanta Walia in the 47th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

If Adipa Upadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Mohanakrishnan Tind had to leave the field with a concussion. 63 minutes into the game, Dhanavanta Walia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polaris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Newlyn East AFC the free kick. Newlyn East AFC's Amritaksara Pal was substituted for Mohanakrishnan Tind. In the 65th match minute, Polaris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dhanavanta Walia to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Adipa Upadhyay notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Polaris's Massem Gala. Massem Gala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Newlyn East AFC booed when Polaris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kushwaha Raja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Bhairavasin Nahal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Newlyn East AFC's Cidambara Tangadavi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anuyayin Jammu in the 77th minute of play. Dhanavanta Walia scored 3-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cidambara Tangadavi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anuyayin Jammu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cidambara Tangadavi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Dhanavanta Walia sent off a good shot on target. Massem Gala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bisvajita Kamle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rdth minute of the game Bisvajita Kamle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Polaris's Massem Gala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adipa Upadhyay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Massem Gala having to interfere.
