Spectators: 7875 (Terracing: 5907, Seating: 1811, VIP seats: 157) When Bisvajita Kamle came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Newlyn East AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bisvajita Kamle couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adipa Upadhyay got free with Aparaditya Mathur in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Newlyn East AFC defense, Kulabhusana Bisla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cidambara Tangadavi. The Newlyn East AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cidambara Tangadavi should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kulabhusana Bisla in the 12th minute of play forced Newlyn East AFC's goalkeeper Cidambara Tangadavi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abhyagni Marathe made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Newlyn East AFC's Adityesa Attwal. With a little luck, The Lions's Aparaditya Mathur got control of the ball when Adipa Upadhyay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bisvajita Kamle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aparaditya Mathur having to interfere. Adipa Upadhyay in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aparaditya Mathur, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Bisvajita Kamle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Newlyn East AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bisvajita Kamle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aparaditya Mathur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Jayprakash Ghai made the kick off in the second half. The Lions's Aparaditya Mathur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adipa Upadhyay in the 52nd minute of play. Adipa Upadhyay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aparaditya Mathur having to interfere. Aparaditya Mathur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bisvajita Kamle in the 57th minute of the match. Bisvajita Kamle took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aparaditya Mathur. Aparaditya Mathur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Aparaditya Mathur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adipa Upadhyay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Newlyn East AFC's Adipa Upadhyay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aparaditya Mathur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kshitij Marathe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Adipa Upadhyay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aparaditya Mathur was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. If Adipa Upadhyay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 played minutes The Lions got a freekick which was hit by Devapalita Mathur. 82 minutes into the game, Adipa Upadhyay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Aparaditya Mathur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aparaditya Mathur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adipa Upadhyay in the 86th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Bhairavasin Nahal in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Aparaditya Mathur's left hand side. Cidambara Tangadavi made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Kulabhusana Bisla sent off a good shot on target. Newlyn East AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
