The supporters of Obsidian Sparta booed when High Wycombe City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ashrita Rai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gurumurthi Rekhi charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gurumurthi Rekhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th minute, Edha Prewal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abhyudaya Naik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Danavira Dias hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Rajindar Nahal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The High Wycombe City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Obsidian Sparta were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rajindar Nahal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ashrita Rai kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Obsidian Sparta's goal looked a bit too open when Kuladipaka Attwal came free, but Manoj Japra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoj Japra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rajindar Nahal in the 66th minute of play. Manoj Japra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rajindar Nahal, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute.
