Radway's supporters crossed their fingers, but Indrasita Pahwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Woolwich Rovers FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Indrasita Pahwa scored to the left of an out of position Gunadhara Mallik, making the score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Indrasita Pahwa in the 54th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indrasita Pahwa in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gunadhara Mallik saved Woolwich Rovers FC from getting behind. After 59 played minutes Woolwich Rovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Amad Tipnis. Hemanya Sudan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gunadhara Mallik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Indrasita Pahwa went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Indrasita Pahwa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gunadhara Mallik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Indrasita Pahwa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Woolwich Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hemanya Sudan came free, but Gunadhara Mallik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunadhara Mallik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Devanirmita Ghoshal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Gunadhara Mallik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indrasita Pahwa in the 85th minute of play. Hemanya Sudan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunadhara Mallik having to make a save. After some careless play in the Woolwich Rovers FC defense, Indrasita Pahwa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunadhara Mallik. The Woolwich Rovers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunadhara Mallik should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Radway players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
