But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Apantaratamas Aulakh couldn't finish the play. Babulal Bhatia stood somewhat misplaced when Kandarpaketu Chauhan came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Apantaratamas Aulakh in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Babulal Bhatia, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Babulal Bhatia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Civarin Barmi in the 42nd minute of the match. Arin Samran charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arin Samran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AS GUWAHATI's Ekahans Parab got a free kick in the 64th minute. Lech Dzerwucki came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by AS GUWAHATI's Prafel Yeddyurappa. But to his dismay, Prafel Yeddyurappa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 70 minutes into the game, Narottam Dango cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Babulal Bhatia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 75 minutes of play AS GUWAHATI's Brahmananda Vadhwa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Brahmananda Vadhwa kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. AS GUWAHATI's Babulal Bhatia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kandarpaketu Chauhan in the 78th minute of play.
