Spectators: 7728 (Terracing: 5797, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Shekar Denzongpa took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Dereham booed when Woolwich Rovers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shekar Denzongpa didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Amad Gala came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Dereham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amad Gala couldn't finish the play. Sonali Lell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shekar Denzongpa in the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Candraprakasa Ghosh fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gunadhara Mallik, passed just outside the right post. Gunadhara Mallik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amad Gala in the 14th minute. Candraprakasa Ghosh struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Gunadhara Mallik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dereham. Gunadhara Mallik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kratumaya Virk in the 17th minute. Amad Gala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Gunadhara Mallik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Candraprakasa Ghosh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dereham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candraprakasa Ghosh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amad Gala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the match, Woolwich Rovers FC's goalkeeper Gunadhara Mallik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kratumaya Virk. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Candraprakasa Ghosh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dereham's supporters rose to their feet, but Candraprakasa Ghosh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunadhara Mallik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amad Gala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candraprakasa Ghosh in the 43rd minute of play forced Woolwich Rovers FC's goalkeeper Gunadhara Mallik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Candraprakasa Ghosh to strike the kick off in the second half. Candraprakasa Ghosh struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Gunadhara Mallik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dereham. Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amad Gala in the 59th minute of play. Gunadhara Mallik came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Dereham's Candraprakasa Ghosh. But to his dismay, Candraprakasa Ghosh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Amad Gala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunadhara Mallik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Gunadhara Mallik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candraprakasa Ghosh in the 70th minute of the match. Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amad Gala in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute Candraprakasa Ghosh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunadhara Mallik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 played minutes Dereham got a freekick which was hit by Amad Gala. 82 minutes into the match, Woolwich Rovers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Amad Gala came free, but Gunadhara Mallik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gunadhara Mallik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Candraprakasa Ghosh, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Dereham getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Kratumaya Virk hit a great ball. Shekar Denzongpa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Sonali Lell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that Dereham were the better team. Dereham's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
