Agnivarna Gurung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karacura Chavan in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Buntingford FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vishwanata Sangma came free, but Agnivarna Gurung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karacura Chavan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnivarna Gurung having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Buntingford FC's Gunin More nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atimanusa Sheikh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Agnivarna Gurung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karacura Chavan in the 29th minute of play. Sivarasa Tjinder was slow to take the kick. During this time Lavendon's players had a chance to rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gunin More made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Lavendon got a corner. Buntingford FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sivarasa Tjinder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lavendon's Sivarasa Tjinder was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agnivarna Gurung in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Agnivarna Gurung made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Vishwanata Sangma sent off a good shot on target. Agnivarna Gurung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karacura Chavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 69 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Karacura Chavan sped through Buntingford FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Agnivarna Gurung. Agnivarna Gurung showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karacura Chavan in the 88th minute of the match. Agnivarna Gurung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karacura Chavan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Karacura Chavan came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Lavendon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karacura Chavan couldn't finish the play. Vishwanata Sangma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Agnivarna Gurung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Buntingford FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Lavendon had controlled the match.
