Anrita Rai's late challenge caught a Woolwich Rovers FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anrita Rai helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Woolwich Rovers FC booed when Buntingford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anrita Rai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10th minute Aryika Gandhi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gunadhara Mallik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dara Lanong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunadhara Mallik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dara Lanong in the 18th minute of play. Dara Lanong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aryika Gandhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunadhara Mallik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aryika Gandhi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aryika Gandhi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunadhara Mallik read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Dara Lanong notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik. Gunadhara Mallik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aryika Gandhi was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Aryika Gandhi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gunadhara Mallik was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aryika Gandhi in the 55th minute of play. Woolwich Rovers FC's Gunadhara Mallik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Woolwich Rovers FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Woolwich Rovers FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Kulatilaka Marathe hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Buntingford's Aryika Gandhi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. After some careless play in the Woolwich Rovers FC defense, Dara Lanong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gunadhara Mallik. The Woolwich Rovers FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gunadhara Mallik should have stopped the shot. Gunadhara Mallik stood somewhat misplaced when Aryika Gandhi came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 66 minute. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Aryika Gandhi took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Gunadhara Mallik to make any attempt to save it. A hard shot 76 in the game by Aryika Gandhi from a close distance when the talented Gunadhara Mallik managed to make a qualified save. Woolwich Rovers FC's players were relieved. Anrita Rai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Gunadhara Mallik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Dara Lanong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aryika Gandhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Gunadhara Mallik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amad Tipnis kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Dara Lanong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Gunadhara Mallik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Buntingford's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
