Hemanya Gopalkrishnan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The AS GUWAHATI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babulal Bhatia should have stopped the shot. Ravindra Hegde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the match, Prafel Yeddyurappa notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Warje FC's Abhiji Talib. Abhiji Talib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ravindra Hegde came free in the 96th minute and tried to tip the ball over Babulal Bhatia, but to the joy of AS GUWAHATI's supporters the ball went over. The AS GUWAHATI fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Warje FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
