An unexpectedly hard shot by Candakirana Rama in the 26th minute of play forced Taverham FC's goalkeeper Harinder Mondol to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Taverham FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Kanakraj Kler hit a great ball. Ware United's Candakirana Rama got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ramakanth Sahota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Harinder Mondol having to make a save. After 32 played minutes Ware United got a freekick which was hit by Janarajan Sirjoshi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Candakirana Rama in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harinder Mondol saved Taverham FC from getting behind. After 37 played minutes Taverham FC got a freekick which was hit by Kanakraj Kler. After a rather tough play, Ware United's Candakirana Rama got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Taverham FC's zone, Candakirana Rama stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harinder Mondol came out of the goal and Candakirana Rama tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Ware United booed when Taverham FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shashi Bawa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Candakirana Rama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Harinder Mondol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Goutham Anand stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Harinder Mondol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Candakirana Rama went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Harinder Mondol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candakirana Rama in the 65th minute of play. Ajeet Sabnis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Indumathy Sharma in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Taverham FC's goal looked a bit too open when Candakirana Rama came free, but Harinder Mondol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Candakirana Rama kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harinder Mondol. That made the score 1-2 in the 73 minute of play. Indumathy Sharma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ware United's Candakirana Rama got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Ramakanth Sahota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Candakirana Rama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Harinder Mondol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 minutes of play, Ware United's Ramakanth Sahota made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Harinder Mondol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramakanth Sahota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Harinder Mondol made a huge save. When the match was over Ware United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Taverham FC throughout the match.
