Deadpooool's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poster FC the free kick. After 14 played minutes Deadpooool got a freekick which was hit by Cirakari Sawhney. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Palla Kumar during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Laloo Shankar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kanvar Dutta in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ksema Varma made a kick off. Laloo Shankar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manu Chhugani in the 52nd minute of the match. Deadpooool's Laloo Shankar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Chhugani in the 55th minute of play. Poster FC's Manu Chhugani got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manu Chhugani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sanjiv Bakshi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Agadhi Khalsa fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
