Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ware United's Candakirana Rama started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Ramakanth Sahota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 9 played minutes Chalfont got a freekick which was hit by Arijit Arneja. In the 11th match minute, Chalfont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ardra Sudan to maneuver through the defense. Chalfont's Nayan Ghai got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Kirtideva Dias got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adhipa Heer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramakanth Sahota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, Ware United's goal looked a bit too open when Nayan Ghai came free, but Ajeet Sabnis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ajeet Sabnis made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Kirtideva Dias sent off a good shot on target. Ardra Sudan hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Candakirana Rama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhipa Heer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ware United's Janarajan Sirjoshi got a free kick in the 27th minute. Ware United's Ajeet Sabnis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Ware United from getting a goal against them. Nayan Ghai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ajeet Sabnis having to make a save. Nayan Ghai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ajeet Sabnis having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nayan Ghai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Nayan Ghai made a precise shot to the right of Ajeet Sabnis. Ware United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Candakirana Rama in the 56th minute of play forced Chalfont's goalkeeper Adhipa Heer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramakanth Sahota got in the 57th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Adhipa Heer handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Ajeet Sabnis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nayan Ghai, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Ramakanth Sahota got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Ware United's Candakirana Rama in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chalfont's goalie prevented a goal. Adhipa Heer made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Ramakanth Sahota sent off a good shot on target. Ajeet Sabnis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nayan Ghai, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Ajeet Sabnis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nayan Ghai in the 76th minute of the match. When Chalfont's Nayan Ghai, in the 82nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Chalfont. In the 89th minute, Kirtideva Dias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nayan Ghai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ajeet Sabnis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ramakanth Sahota struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Adhipa Heer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ware United. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ware United players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chalfont.
