Ramjeet Nagra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Laloo Shankar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes, Cirakari Sawhney mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deadpooool and the Liphook players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Ksema Varma, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 29 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Acalapati De was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Sanjiv Bakshi in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Acalapati De, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Acalapati De took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksema Varma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deadpooool's Ksema Varma got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kala Takhar hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute of the match, Sanjiv Bakshi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Acalapati De was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Ksema Varma came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Deadpooool fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ksema Varma couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramjeet Nagra made a kick off. Kamalakara Dass sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laloo Shankar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramjeet Nagra, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Deadpooool:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Liphook:s goal. The goalkeeper, Laloo Shankar, was totally fooled by Liphook's Apurva Solanki, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Acalapati De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanjiv Bakshi, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rajjun Bansal's late challenge caught a Liphook's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
