Raghbir Irani came out of the goal and Goutham Anand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 played minutes Great Yarmouth got a freekick which was hit by Jana Naidu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goutham Anand in the 23rd minute of play forced Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Raghbir Irani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raghbir Irani had great luck who in the 27thth minute grab hold of the ball when Goutham Anand from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 34th minute, Goutham Anand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adityasena Sohota hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Goutham Anand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raghbir Irani having to interfere. Raghbir Irani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goutham Anand in the 42nd minute of the match. Great Yarmouth's Raghbir Irani proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Great Yarmouth from getting a goal against them. Raghbir Irani made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Indumathy Sharma sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 51 played minutes Great Yarmouth got a freekick which was hit by Abhiratra Agarwal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indumathy Sharma in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raghbir Irani saved Great Yarmouth from getting behind. Surinderjeet Rama charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Surinderjeet Rama the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Great Yarmouth getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Surinderjeet Rama hit a great ball. When Indumathy Sharma got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Raghbir Irani was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Goutham Anand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Indumathy Sharma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Raghbir Irani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 63 minutes of play Great Yarmouth's Surinderjeet Rama was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Shashi Bawa was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Himambu Kaur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Harinder Mondol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Indumathy Sharma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 80th minute of the game. One of Great Yarmouth:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Taverham FC:s goal. In the 82nd minute there was a penalty for Taverham FC. Shashi Bawa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raghbir Irani. 1-0. Raghbir Irani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goutham Anand in the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Great Yarmouth's goal looked a bit too open when Indumathy Sharma came free, but Raghbir Irani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indumathy Sharma in the 91st minute of play forced Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Raghbir Irani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Himambu Kaur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harinder Mondol having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Great Yarmouth players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Taverham FC.
