Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Shankar Naik kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute, Amirtharaj Rahul got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hararupa Ghuman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vijai Thiara having to interfere. Akrsnakarman Chandha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Vijai Thiara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsea's zone, Shankar Naik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dhyanayogi Shrivastav came out of the goal and Shankar Naik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nailsea's Dhyanayogi Shrivastav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shankar Naik in the 19th minute of play. Shankar Naik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dhyanayogi Shrivastav having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Akrsnakarman Chandha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diss's Vijai Thiara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akrsnakarman Chandha in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vijai Thiara saved Diss from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Aparoksa Sehgal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caruvardhana Dasgupta, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Nailsea's attack was well implemented in the 39th minute, but when Hararupa Ghuman was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a defensive mix-up in Nailsea's zone, Shankar Naik stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dhyanayogi Shrivastav came out of the goal and Shankar Naik tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vijai Thiara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hararupa Ghuman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akrsnakarman Chandha was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Akrsnakarman Chandha in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vijai Thiara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karmavira Kang hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. If Hararupa Ghuman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Akrsnakarman Chandha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Akrsnakarman Chandha in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vijai Thiara saved Diss from getting behind. Akrsnakarman Chandha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vijai Thiara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Vijai Thiara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akrsnakarman Chandha in the 70th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Dyutita Chopra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nailsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diss the free kick. After 71 played minutes Nailsea got a freekick which was hit by Dyutita Chopra. Hararupa Ghuman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vijai Thiara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vijai Thiara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akrsnakarman Chandha in the 78th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Caruvardhana Dasgupta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Diss's Vijai Thiara didn't even have to move. Akrsnakarman Chandha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vijai Thiara having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Akrsnakarman Chandha kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vijai Thiara. That made the score 1-1 in the 86 minute of play. Dyutita Chopra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Nailsea players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
