Kamaraja Barmi came out of the goal and Hari Paranjpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Balakrishna Jaggi might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paramveer Toor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Balakrishna Jaggi ran back to his position shaking his head. When Baladhika Som came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Belvedere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baladhika Som couldn't finish the play. 15 minutes into the match, Chelsea fc's goal looked a bit too open when Gorla Ahluwalia came free, but Paramveer Toor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Belvedere FC booed when Chelsea fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hitesvara Khalsa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 22 minutes, Akhilendra Bhudraja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belvedere FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akhilendra Bhudraja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Belvedere FC's Kamaraja Barmi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hari Paranjpe in the 24th minute of play. Balakrishna Jaggi in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paramveer Toor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Chelsea fc getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Narinderjeet Mallik hit a great ball. Paramveer Toor acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 43rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Akhilendra Bhudraja. Balakrishna Jaggis short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Paramveer Toor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hari Paranjpe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Belvedere FC had played much better football throughout.
